Polish-born Kasia’s passion for travel has taken her to many destinations around the world and is a source of inspiration that greatly influences her design style.
Having lived and worked in both Europe and the US, Kasia has an appreciation for culture. Whether working on commercial spaces or residential design, she likes to use materials and techniques that resonate with the client, reflecting their own personal culture and vision.
After gaining her Master’s of Science in Architecture in 2000 with Highest Honors from Cracow University of Technology, Kasia moved to the US, where she applied her architectural training to visualizing and creating amazing spaces.
Returning to Europe for three years, she worked on private luxury residences and boutique galleries, applying her unique approach in placing emphasis on the intricate detailing of a design. For Kasia, the smallest of detail sometimes becomes critical for the project. She is never satisfied until the space is simply breath-taking.
Kasia now lives in New York with her husband and two children. She loves the city and the way it affords her the opportunity of mapping the beauty of well-crafted modern spaces with historic buildings, where new architecture blends pieces of history and our culture.
Kasia is genuinely intrigued by people and their stories. She very much enjoys the co-creative process with her clients and understands how overwhelming a large renovation project can be. Which is why her approach always looks for the differentiator – what make the project and the client unique. She provides valuable guidance to help client ideas take shape and explore their own creative process.
In her own words, Kasia is an unsettled perfectionist. She is diligent and truly enjoys getting to know each client to understand their thoughts, traditions and what they want to achieve. Buildings aren’t just about the space, for Kasia it’s about the people who are going to live and work in the space. And just as importantly, she wants everyone to enjoy the process from start to finish.
Kasia collaborates with her clients to achieve the perfect symmetry between beauty and harmony, always designing with a narrative. Every space has a story, and it is her role to create its own sense of place.
