This exemplary project in the Greenburgh neighbourhood of Hartsdale, New York consists of a 5 bed, 5 bath contemporary home, with privacy and serene surroundings.
The concept was to allow the landscaping to blend and interact with the building, blurring their boundaries and rooting the building into its site. The owners are very much sports orientated and the remit was to incorporate family space into the project to share their love of sports.
The interior layout was no longer fit for purpose, with it being outdated and in need of modernisation. We remodelled several rooms over all floors, to create a stunning new master bedroom and bath, as well as his and her office space.
We carried out a complete remodel on the basement to create a new games and entertainment room.
The client also has a great appreciation of art and part of the remit was to incorporate modern pieces to bring a central focus to many of the rooms. We used the art to bring color and vibrancy to each of the rooms.
