This mid-century Westchester home residence sits on the shores of a lake and has the most spectacular views. This made the connection of the exterior and interior of paramount importance.
Despite the need for significant renovation at the start of the project, the bright, airiness of the house made it easy for Kasia to envisage its potential and was the inspiration for its stunning transformation to the lake-view home it is today.
Embracing many original design features, the home was opened up to create connecting spaces with a natural flow throughout the first floor with the focal point being on the brick fireplace – giving a new grandeur to house that was lacking previously.
